Daniel RichterManaging Director
Captain Daniel Richter is originally from Frankfurt, Germany. He has been actively engaged in the aviation community for the past 20 years, and apart from being a highly experienced pilot, he has also held various management positions from Chief Pilot to Training Manager.
After completing his aviation training at North American Institute of Aviation in 1997, he worked actively as a Flight Instructor and later as a Corporate Pilot. Since 2000, Daniel has worked for such reputable companies as Lufthansa, Emirates Flight Training and NetJets. He holds the Airline Transport Pilot Certification along with various Flight, Ground and Simulator Instructor Certifications. Captain Daniel is also a certified Test Pilot on the Hawker HS-125.
Captain Daniel has previously worked in the USA, Germany, South Africa, Croatia, Russia, Saudi-Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
Apart from his vast experience, Captain Daniel brings to Gryphon Aviation his multi-national language skills paired with a notable German mindset. Under his skilled leadership, Gryphon Aviation has grown into a reputable company that is now well known and admired by many clients for its distinguished European values such as reliability, integrity and punctuality.
Elia BorrinoCommercial Director
Elia Borrino is originally from Rome, Italy. In 2009 he graduated from the Alitalia Technical Aeronautical Academy as a certified Aeronautical Engineer. Subsequently, Elia further advanced his career by attending pilot training in the USA and, at the age of 23, became a certified commercial pilot. In 2013 Elia joined Canadian Aviation Electronics in Dallas TX, a global leader in Civil Aviation Training. At CAE, he worked as a Supporting Crew Member Instructor to provide Professional Pilot Training in various business jet aircraft.
Besides working as a Pilot Instructor, Elia has managed a fleet of 6 private and commercial aircraft for a Dallas-based aviation company.
In performing this function, he gained valuable experience with managing and supervising the financial aspects of fleet planning, maintenance schedules and pilot training.
Elia is one of the founding members of Gryphon Aviation Asset Management. Apart from his managerial functions he is responsible for customer acquisition and care, social media, corporate marketing and advertising.
When out of the office, Elia enjoys networking, managing events, cooking and arts.
