Q: What routes does Gryphon currently fly?
A: Gryphon currently flies one regular route between Kuwait City and Sather Air Force Base at BIAP in Baghdad, Iraq. We fly Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Q: What credentials will I need to board Gryphon's flight to Sather AB in Baghdad?
A: You must present a valid passport and one of the following: a Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC), a Letter of Authorization (LOA), or Invitational Travel Orders (ITO) before boarding a Gryphon flight to Sather AB, Baghdad.
Q: What are the baggage limitations on a Gryphon flight?
A: All checked baggage must not exceed 50 lbs. Fees will be charged for excess weight. One small carry-on plus a small item, such as a purse or a small computer bag, that can be stowed under the seat are allowed.
Q: Can you store my body armor / PPE for me?
A: Gryphon is not able to provide this service.
Q: Can I bring firearms on board a Gryphon flight?
A: All weapons and ammunition must be declared. If you plan to transport weapons on a Gryphon flight, please download the "Firearms Form" located under "Documents' on the left side of our home page. Complete the form and email it to reservations@gryphonholdings.com in advance of your departure. Carry a copy of the completed form with you to present to Kuwait Customs upon arrival. Items not allowed in carry-on luggage or on your person include firearms and ammunition, explosives, knives and other sharp objects, and anything that has the appearance of a weapon. Explosives are strictly prohibited. If any of these items are packed in checked-on baggage, they must be declared to Gryphon personnel at check-in.
